PLATELET REDUCTION USING BAXTER CS3000+

Platelet reduction procedure is very similar with collection procedure. Beware of the differences.

Kit : Standard Kit

Plate : Platelet TNX

Volume Target : 7000 mls

ACDA Ratio : 11 to 1 ml

Blood Test : Full Blood Count Pre and Post Procedure

PROCEDURE:

1. Select Procedure 1

2. Install and prime the kit

3. Connect patient

4. Press start to commence procedure

5. Check ACDA rate

6. Set the baseline after first spill over

7. When target is reached, press menu followed by start/resume to rinse back

8. Press halt/irrigate to finish procedure

9. Disconnect patient
